Enjoy the music of the beginning of Italian Opera in a stunning location. An art historian will guide you through Doria Pamphilj Palace and its prestigious Gallery of paintings and sculptures while professional musicians will delight you long the visit with Baroque music on original instruments.
A final concert will be performed in the superb Jupiter Hall, exclusively reserved for our guests.

The Doria Pamphilj Gallery is the largest private art Gallery of Rome. The collection of paintings, sculptures, furniture has been assembled by the Family since the XVI c., and hosts masterpieces by Caravaggio, Raphael, Tiziano, Velazquez, Bernini.


Music by: Monteverdi, Frescobaldi, Falconieri, Sanz, Caccini, Aranes, Praetorius, Landi, Gastoldi and others Baroque composers
performed live by Schola Romana Ensemble, our resident historically informed group.
